We established the International Network Development in Indonesia for Gonorrhea surveillance (INDIGO), funded by the Academy of Medical Sciences - United Kingdom, with the primary aim of building a collaborative research network in Indonesia to develop capacity for Neisseria gonorrhoeae surveillance, by bringing together clinicians, microbiologists, and bioinformaticians.
