We assess the growing burden of antimicrobial resistance among critically prioritized drug-resistant Enterobacterales in Indonesian and Southeast Asian healthcare settings, informing evidence-based stewardship strategies and regional surveillance efforts. We also join the ARISE ABLE Observational Study (coordinated by the Japan Institute for Health Security) to address key epidemiological and genetic knowledge gaps surrounding third-generation cephalosporin-resistant Enterobacterales across member institutions in Southeast Asia and Japan.
