The Mochtar Riady Institute of Nanotechnology (MRIN) is a non-profit organization committed to improving the understanding and control of cancer in Indonesia through integrated laboratory and clinical discoveries. To address these challenges, MRIN is equipped with 12 laboratories to support both genomic and proteomic research.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our research efforts for the following positions:

PROTEIN SCIENTIST (New !) :

to design and implement research on cancer study using proteomic approach.

Minimum qualifications include a Ph. D. in biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, or a related field plus at least two years of research experience. Suitable applicants must have experience using protein expression, purification, characterization techniques and ELISA.

MOLECULAR BIOLOGIST (New !) :

to design and implement research on liver cancer and hepatitis

Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in molecular or cell biology, pharmacy or related field plus at least two years of experience. Experience in virological studies is preferable.

BIOSTATISCIAN (New !) :

to perform data analysis and interpretation using contemporary biostatistical and bioinformatic methodologies.

Minimum qualifications include a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in statistic/ mathematic or a related discipline and a keen interest in life-science, genomics and medicine. Experience/ training in biostatistics and bioinformatics are preferred; training will be provided if necessary.

ANIMAL RESEARCH SCIENTIST (New !) :

to design and implement in vivo cancer research experiments with small animal models, particularly mice.

Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in veterinary medicine, molecular and cell biology, pharmacy or a related field plus at least two years of research experience. Experience/training in animal experiments is a must.

IMMUNOLOGIST (New !) :

to design and implement research on cancer immunology and immunotherapy.

Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in immunology, molecular and cell biology, pharmacy or a related field plus at least two years of research experience.

RESEARCH ASSISTANTS (New !) :

to conduct research for genomic/ proteomic/ immunology related projects under supervision of the laboratory principal investigator.

Minimum qualifications include a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy or a related field. Research experience is preferred but not required.
